I have read Stars and Butterfly. Is there a third one? I can't find it. When will it come out? They were my favorite books. Thank you.

I discovered your website via the Warner Books web page today. As a librarian, book lover, and part-time employee in an independent bookstore, I was searching for publisher sites to bookmark. I have not thought of looking for author sites! I have read several of your books, including Domina, The Dreaming, Virgins of Paradise. I have enjoyed all of your books and look forward to reading your new one. I would like to find out when you would be autographing in Atlanta or elsewhere in the Southeast.

Dear Ms. Wood, I host a small book group that meets once a month. We have all just finished Perfect Harmony and unanimously love it. This was the first of your books we have read. Now we want to read them all. Freinds in La Jolla, CA. F

Hi Barbara, I am just in the middle of your book The Dreaming - A Novel of Australia , it's the 7th book I read from you and it is just great. My favorite place to read your books is my bath, full with hot water and a cool coca cola besides me. When I am out of the bath I look like my own grandma because my skin is wrinkled after staying hours in there... After you there is only one author who won't let me sleep until I finished the book- Diana Gabaldon. If you haven't heard from her, she is just great, I bet you would love her books also. I'll end up here, please go on writing in your style this will make me and many other of your readers very happy in the future. Many Greetings from Switzerland, yours Kirsten

Hi Mrs Wood, sorry, but my English is not so good. Good luck for the next time. Your SaJec!!

Dear Barbara, I work for the Public Library and I often reccommend your books. I think they are very well written and include many of the elements I appreciate such as an interesting historical setting, strong female characters and a touch of mysticism. I enjoyed your most recent book Perfect Harmony, although the pace seemed more frenzied than any your other novels. My cat Marvin is on my lap as I write and I have just consumed a delicious chocolate chip cookie so I guess we are definately on the same wave length. I would be interested to know how you choose your subjects they are always diverse and intriguing. Rita B.

Hello Barbara! This is very exciting to me, as you are currently my favourite author! My favourite books of yours are Domina and Virgins of Paradise. I even got my husband to read The Magdalene Scrolls, and he enjoyed the suspense in it, too. I love how carefully you research your books, and the fact that you do not write formula fiction. As a teracher, I am very conscious of reading good books. Your books are cleverly written and I learn something every time I chose one of your titles. I just finished reading Perfect Harmony last night. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't my favourite of your writings. As I live in Canada, it is sometimes hard for me to get your books quickly. I noticed a couple of titles on the list which I have not seen in my library's catalogue. I am also a conscious user of the public library. I feel very strongly that we under-use such valuable treasures in our society, and that the use it or loose it reality could strike. It sure is great to actually express my thoughts to my favourite author. I would love to hear from you! It would be a very exciting thing for me if you wrote to me personally, but I do not expect it. You must get LOADS of e-mail. Well, keep writing, and I'll keep recommending you to everyone I know who has a brain and loves to read. From your avid reader, Kelli Gough

The Prophetess was the first book of yours that I've read. It was wonderful. My friend, Louise, introduced it to me. She has just purchased Perfect Harmony which she tells me is wonderful. I just finished Virgins in Paradise which I also thoroughly enjoyed. Are you going to write a sequel to The Prophetess? Several of your books seem to be out of print. Do you know if any will be reprinted such as The Drreaming. Thank you for saying so many of the things that we have observed and think about women's roles and issues.

Dear Barbara, About 10 years ago, when I was a docent at the LA Zoo, someone suggested I read Green City in The Sun. Since then I've read and loved nearly all your books. The Virgins of Paradise lead me to read many other interesting books about Egypt. I'm still looking for Magdalene Scrolls - no luck so far. Today I brought home Perfect Harmony and will start it tonight. After noticing your website I spent all afternoon browsing it. It's great! Thank you for so many wonderful books. Carol

Dear Barbara, It's wonderful to see that you have a Web Page! I have read and admired your words/work for a few years now and each time a read another book, I feel such a link connection to you. I am always searching for hidden truths or memories from past/future lives and your work is so sprinkled with such multi-faceted energies like that! Your book, sampling partheonogenesis was enjoyable and The Dreaming was magnificent! Having done some recent readings regarding the Essenes and how they set the path up for the coming of that guy Jesus G, I was totally thrilled with The Prophetess and your mentioning of Miriam (Miriam and Moses definintely on the same hiarchial level - knowledge lost to (wo)mankind! And now, Perfect Harmony, which I am presently reading is so very good indeed! I have worked in teh past, both in the Internet field and in Natural Health markets and hacking and herbs are just a perfect combination (or tincture?G. I haven't totally reviewed your Wedsite but I must say, I admire your writings and I sense, I admire your eclectic interesting personality as well (or let's say, that which comes through your writing G. Thank you for sharing this in your novels with this very absorbed fan/friend. Patri Ginas (paTREE Genus)

Question: Having read the prophetess I am left wondering if you are a Buddhist as the contents of the book have many similarities the the teachings of the Tibetan Bubddhists

I THINK YOUR BOOKS ARE WONDERFUL!!!! I am gla I founf you online - there are some of your books I have been unable to find in the local bookstores! I have read most though. My mother's name is Barbara Wood (actually Barbara A. Wood - She lives in Westlake Village, CA us a world famous fine artist (mostly oils). I discovered your books purely by accident when I picked up one just because of the name similarity! Keep up the Great Writings!
