SOULFLAME and CURSE THIS HOUSE are my favourites, just because i find them the most exciting ones...AND they're only small books, i think around 300-400 pages which is my favourite format of books. teehee. yeah, i can be a lazy reader at times. LOL.

i tend to prefer barbara's older novels. i am not exactly sure why...maybe i am getting older, too? LOL.

Mine is GREEN CITY IN THE SUN for sure! This book is an epic!! Took me a while to read it as it's a BIG book, but what a treat! I've also read BUTTERFLY by Kathryn Harvey, which was terrific - really different from the Barbara Wood stories. She must have 2 personalities or something to pull that off Laugh

Gosh, it is hard to pick a favorite one because I have liked them all!! I have read everyone of your books, Barbara. But if I have to pick one I guess it would be THE DREAMING. Ok...I like CHILD"S SONG and THE WATCH GODS too! Told ya I couldn't pick just one. Smile! My favorite Kathryn Harvey book is PRIVATE ENTRANCE. I like all your books because not only are you a fabulous writer, you put a great deal of research into them.

Mine are Green City of the Sun, Virgins of Paradise and Domina, and, of course, Butterfly - though I have to admit I was really (pleasantly) surprised to find out that this novel was written by Barbara- such a different plot and style- but splendid!!!. I was spellbound...I hope there will be another Harvey someday...
But of course, I also love her other novels

Green city of the sun or "Bajo el sol de Kenia" definitly is my favorite, I've read it twice. And it's funny because that book it's very long, has many pages and I find it very short. Now I'm reading Curse this house or "La casa maldita", and that book is short, but I have found it very long. I need to add more hours to day to read more.

I loved Yesterday's Child. I'm a sucker for romance which goes beyond the boundaries of time and throw in an old mysterious victorian house and you've got my interest.
